It has been quiet some time since I wrote anything about myself on here.  Alors voilà !  In a short time, I will be teaching freshman English, and-though I am an English Masters student-I share Mary's anxiety.  I just don’t know exactly how to teach, but what can you do?  This summer has been quiet hectic.  I am still an RA for Dr. Morgan—I am now researching grammar text and the miscegenation and Tolkien root dried up.  I have almost assuredly settled upon a topic for my thesis:  External verses Internal Consciousness—the development in the Medieval Hero (for those interested).  I also am working on two papers for conference; the first is on Tom Bombadil in LOTR.  The second is on ‘mistranslation’ in light of Nietzsche and Derrida.  I can promise everyone that I did not really get deconstruction a year ago; but, (a tip of the hat to Mike) I love it now.  Tisk, tisk.  I really don’t know if I like Eco now either.  But I haven’t read Kant and Platypus yet so I’ll hold off judgment.  My wife is doing well.  She’s finished Harry 7!  (Cheers).  Our kitten gets spaded on Wednesday—she’s a white Persian named Poopsie.  It’s okay; I almost gag sometime too.  However, she is cute.  Although, she is not cute when she hides my wallet underneath the junk in my study.  I probably should clean it.  I sometimes wonder about everyone I knew in Shawnee.  Ah, best wishes.
